Everest Poker

Summary: A

Everest is the new kid on the block, but what an impressive initial showing! They're the fastest growing site online, with a decidedly international flavor (their impressive software is avaialble for download in more than 17 languages). Add to this the preferential sign-up bonus they have extended to PokerCroaker.com readers (20% HIGHER than that available to the general public -- see below), and you've got a future star of the online poker scene in the making.
Sign-up Bonus

Everest has provided PokerCroaker.com readers with an exclusive customized bonus
code to use after your new account has been set up. IMPORTANT: you MUST follow
a link from PokerCroaker.com to Everest in order to be eligible for our
exclusive $300 bonus offer. WITHIN 7 DAYS of initial account registration, go
to My Account...Bonus Account, which will bring you to the bonus code entry
screen. There, enter bonus code PCROAKER to be awarded this exclusive bonus. See detailed instructions for this bonus on our Bonus Codes page.
You MUST enter the PCROAKER code INSTEAD of the normal welcome bonus code
available to the general public ("WELCOME"). The "PCROAKER" code will get you
the $300 bonus, whereas the "WELCOME" code will get you the standard $200 bonus.
Software: A

Everest impressed our editors with their lightning-quick software, although the placement of the action buttons over to the left-hand side of the table took a little getting-used to. We love their resizeable tables, which allows players to multi-table to their heart's content on a single monitor.
Caliber of competition: A +

Everest is second, perhaps, only to Pacific in the softness of the games. With a truly international and rapidly-growing player base, Everest has been attracting new fish from every corner of the world, where poker IQ still lags behind the relatively developed scenes in North America and Western Europe. The result is noticeably soft competition, even at higher stakes.
Customer Service: B +

Everest suffers from a common gripe we have with many of the sites we review at PokerCroaker.com: no phone support! That being said, our emails were always answered politely and relatively quickly, and we can confidently recommend Everest as one of the more impressive new sites. |
